Angela trained at RADA. Her many theatre appearances include: Henrietta in Robert & Elizabeth (Lyric); On The Level with Gary Bond (Saville Theatre); Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream and the Countess in A Patriot For Me (Bristol Old Vic); A Close Shave and Antigone (Nottingham): Ride a Cock Horse (Hampstead); As You Like It (Oxford Playhouse); Lucy Locket in Robin Phillips' production of The Beggar's Opera (Chichester); Eve Harrington in Applause, opposite Lauren Bacall (Haymarket); Hallelujah Lil in Happy End (Lyric); How Lucky Can You Get (Donmar); Side By Side By Sondheim (Donmar; Olivier Award Nomination for Best Actress in a Musical); Tom & Viv (Vaudeville). Her latest theatre Shows ahve included Madam Dafarge in A Tale of Two Cities (Bill Kenwright Ltd Windsor and Birmingham); Dorethy Fields in Dorothy Fields Forever (Jermyn Street Theatre & Kings Head); Amy in Putting It Together (Liberty Theatre Manchester); Ethel Merman in Call Merman (Kings HEad); Kearn Goes to Hollywood (Kings Head); Enter the Guardsman (Donmar) and Moving On (Bridewell). TV appearances include Omnibus - The Road To Mandalay; Across the Lake, with Anthony Hopkins, and three series of Secret Army for the BBC for which she wrote and sang the songs recorded under the title Le Cafe Candide. Angela currently spends her spare time writing lyrics and music.
