Ben Harrison - Sound Designer


Ben started his career at the Liverpool Playhouse where sound design credits include 'The Cabinet of Dr Caligari', and 'Dracula'.

Since leaving Liverpool Ben has worked as a Production Sound Engineer on many shows including, 'Blood Brothers' (UK Tour and West End), 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' (UK Tour and West End),'Hot Stuff' (UK Tour) 'Boogie Nights' (UK Tour), 'Thank You For The Music' (UK Tour), 'RENT' (UK Tour and West End), 'The Pirates of Penzance' (UK Tour), 'On Your Toes' (Japanese Tour), 'A Few Good Men' (West End), 'Chicago' (Baalbeck International Festival, Lebanon),'My Name is Rachel Corrie' (West End), 'Rock 'n' Roll' (West End) and 'Richard II' directed by Steven Berkoff at Ludlow Festival.

Ben's sound design credits include, 'Blood Brothers' (UK Tour), 'Whistle Down The Wind' (UK Tour), 'The Roy Orbison Story' (UK Tour), 'The Boy Friend' (UK Tour),'The Fortune Club' (Tricycle Theatre), 'Tom, Dick and Harry' (West End), 'Fame the Musical'' (Cyprus), 'Tommy' (UK Tour), 'Dancing In The Streets' (West End and UK Tour),'Mother Goose' (Stoke) and 'This Is Elvis' (UK Tour).

Since 2002 Ben has been Head of Sound at Leicester's Haymarket Theatre where he has designed 'West Side Story', 'The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe', 'Hot Stuff, the Christmas Edition', 'Macbeth', 'An Illustrious Corpse', 'Beautiful Thing', 'The Fortune Club', 'East', 'Divine', 'The Bogus Woman' (also at Adelaide Festival and Brits Off Broadway, NY), 'The Good Woman of Schezuan' and most recently Steven Sondheim's 'Pacific Overtures'.
